Training

Injectable training — built around the injector, not the calendar.

There is no fixed course to enroll in. Lauren sets the format, the length, and the content after she knows what you inject today and what you want to be able to do next.

Training is led by Lauren Meade, PA-C — national Galderma GAIN faculty, for licensed medical providers in Lexington and across Kentucky. Meet Lauren

Ways to train

Shadow days, one-to-one and small-group sessions, on-site team training, and ongoing mentorship — combined however your goals call for. Availability and pricing are confirmed by email once Lauren knows what you need.

Shadow day

Spend a clinical day beside Lauren in practice. You watch consultations, assessment, product selection, and injection technique on real patients, and you ask the questions that only come up when you are watching someone work.

Best for providers who want to see the whole decision chain before they change how they inject.

One-to-one training

The full session on your goals alone. Nothing is shared with a group, nothing is generic, and the entire day can pivot the moment something in your technique needs more attention than planned.

Small-group training

A handful of providers at a comparable level, working through the same material with individual correction. Useful when you want peers to think out loud with.

Customized sessions — four, six, or eight hours

Four, six, or eight hours, assembled from the topics below and sequenced so the didactic piece lands right before you put a needle in your hand. Held at Lauren's Lexington facility or at your own practice.

Practice and team training

Lauren comes to you — on site at your practice in Lexington, across Kentucky, or out to the Louisville and Cincinnati area. Training for an entire team, so everyone injects to one standard rather than four. Content can be aimed at the newest injector, the most advanced, or split across the day.

Ongoing mentorship

Continued access after the training day, for the cases and complications that turn up once you are back in your own treatment room. How mentorship works

What you can train on

Hands-on and didactic components are available for each of these. Which combination you get depends on your credential, your state, and what you already do well.

Neurotoxins

Neuromodulator technique (Botox, Dysport, and the newer toxins) built on muscle anatomy and treatment planning rather than memorized injection patterns.

  • Facial muscle anatomy and dynamic assessment
  • Dosing for longevity and natural movement
  • Upper and lower face treatment planning
  • Preventing and managing neurotoxin adverse events
  • Reading asymmetry and correcting it
  • Onset, duration, and realistic patient expectations

Dermal fillers

Filler technique anchored in the anatomy that tells you where to place product, how much, and when to stop.

  • Full-face assessment and treatment sequencing
  • Product selection, including full-strength versus blended filler
  • Cannula versus needle, and when each is right
  • Placement across tissue planes — periosteal, deep and superficial fat, deep and superficial dermis
  • Vascular anatomy and danger zones
  • Recognizing and managing vascular compromise

Biostimulators & regenerative

The collagen side of aesthetics — slower, less immediately gratifying, and often the better answer.

  • Sculptra and Radiesse reconstitution and treatment planning
  • Safe, effective technique for collagen and elastin stimulation
  • PRP, PRF, and PDGF — evidence-based protocols and patient selection
  • Facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, and skin quality
  • Integrating biostimulators alongside dermal fillers
  • Managing expectations across a treatment series

The session that gets put off

Complication management is the part of aesthetic education most often skipped — and the injectors who have been doing this a while know what the stakes are.

The material is built on real-world case discussion, with the emphasis on safety. It covers prevention and management of common neurotoxin adverse events; filler-related vascular complications — arterial occlusion, venous occlusion, and compression injuries; biostimulator and filler nodules; and treatment protocols for filler-related infections.

Providers leave with clear, step-by-step management algorithms — the basis for an effective in-office complication protocol.

What a day actually looks like

Inside a training day.
Before
A short conversation about your credential, your state's scope of practice, what you inject now, and the cases you want to handle better. Lauren builds the agenda from that.
Didactic
Anatomy, product science, and decision-making — kept tight and tied directly to what you are about to do with your hands.
Hands-on
You inject. Lauren corrects angle, depth, plane, and volume in real time, and explains the anatomy behind every adjustment as she makes it.
Debrief
What changed, what to practice first, and what to be careful with.
Eligibility
Training is offered to licensed medical providers — physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses — practicing within their state's scope. Bring your credential and license details to the inquiry.

Pricing, dates, and group sizes are confirmed directly by email — they depend on format, length, and travel. Ask in your inquiry and Lauren will send current details.

Tell Lauren what you want to be able to do.

The intake takes about two minutes and covers your level, your products, and your goals — so the first reply you get is a real plan.
