LM Aesthetics Inquire

Lauren Meade, PA-C  |  Injector, Educator, National Trainer

Thirteen years in, still learning out loud.

Lauren has spent her career in plastic surgery and medical aesthetics — and the last seven-plus of those years teaching other injectors how to think before they inject.

How she got here

Lauren Meade with two colleagues after a Silhouette InstaLift thread course
A thread-lift course in April 2025. Thirteen years in, Lauren was the one taking notes.

Lauren is a certified Physician Assistant who began her aesthetic career in plastic surgery — a particular kind of education: you learn the anatomy from the people who operate on it, and you learn early what happens when it is treated carelessly.

She built a practice around precision, safety, and natural-looking results. Today she is the lead injector at CaloSpa Rejuvenation Center in Lexington — in a real treatment room, with a real patient schedule.

That matters more than it sounds. The techniques Lauren teaches are the ones she is currently using, on the products currently on the market, with the complications that currently turn up.

For more than seven years she has trained injectors nationally through Galderma GAIN, and has led more than three hundred trainings for providers at every level — sixty-seven of them in 2024 alone — from brand-new injectors who have not yet touched a patient to advanced providers building regenerative protocols. She is also a Tiger Aesthetics trainer.

How she teaches

Most injectable education teaches patterns: this many units, in these spots, at this depth. Patterns work until the face in front of you is not the face in the diagram — and then the provider has nothing to fall back on.

Lauren teaches the reasoning underneath. Why this muscle is pulling that way. Why this plane and not the one above it. Why the right answer for this patient is to do less, or to do nothing today, or to send them somewhere else entirely.

The result is slower to teach and considerably more useful. Providers leave able to assess a face they have never seen, choose a tool with a reason attached, and recognize the moment when the safe move is to stop.

“My goal is simple: create a space where injectors can ask questions freely, refine technique, and leave with knowledge that is clear, approachable, and immediately actionable. No ego or intimidation.”

KAMAP

Lauren is a founder and co-director of the Kentucky Association of Medical Aesthetic Providers. KAMAP supports medical aesthetic professionals across the state through education, advocacy, peer-to-peer support, and shared clinical safety resources — including an annual summit.

The work reflects the same conviction that shapes her training: aesthetic medicine is a serious clinical specialty, it deserves real standards, and the providers practicing inside it deserve a professional community rather than a marketplace.
